This week, we're thrilled to introduce our first featured team member, Trish Harris, Parts Manager at Bill Brown Ford, as she shares her career journey and the passion that continues to drive her success.
How long have you been in the automotive industry?
28 years
Can you share a moment in your career when you felt especially proud or recognized?
One of the moments I’m most proud of is reaching my role as Parts Manager at the highest volume Ford dealership in the world. It didn’t happen overnight - it came from years of dedication, growth, and pushing through challenges in a prominently male dominated field. I’ve worked hard to earn respect, build a strong team, and lead with confidence. This achievement represents not just a title, but everything I’ve invested to get here.
What excites you most about the future of the automotive industry?
I’m most excited to see the ever-changing model designs and how innovation continues to drive advancements in both technology and customer experience across the industry.
What are your favorite hobbies or interests?
Spending time with my kids, caring for my two rescue dogs, and tending to my house plants are some of the ways I recharge. I also enjoy e-biking and staying active outdoors.
If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of career advice, what would it be?
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to be more assertive - trust your instincts, speak with confidence, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself as you continue to grow in your career.
