How long have you been in the automotive industry?
12 years.
Can you share a moment in your career when you felt especially proud or recognized?
Bringing different businesses together into one way of working isn't always easy, but seeing people get
behind the change, leaders grow, and teams start working as one has been really rewarding. I'm proud to
have played a part in building a positive culture and helping people through that journey.
What excites you most about the future of the automotive industry?
How quickly it's evolving. The pace of change is creating opportunities to improve both the customer and
employee experience through new ways of working. For me, it's about the people. I'm excited by the
opportunity to build high-performing teams, develop future leaders, and create workplaces that can adapt
and thrive as the industry continues to change.
What are your favorite hobbies or interests?
I enjoy health and fitness including Pilates and running and generally like keeping active. This helps balance
my love for cooking and great food! Most of my spare time is spent with my family, especially supporting
my 8-year-old son with all of his sporting activities, which keeps us pretty busy! I'm also a bit of a secret
gaming enthusiast and enjoy keeping up with the latest gaming technology.
If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of career advice, what would it be?
It would be to back yourself more and not be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Some of the biggest
opportunities in my career have come from taking on challenges that felt bigger than what I thought I was
ready for. I'd also remind myself that relationships matter. Building trust, listening to people,
and treating everyone with respect will always take you further than having all the answers.
At the end of the day, people remember how you made them feel, and that's something I've always tried
to keep front of mind throughout my career.
